சாதிமத பேதமில்லாமல் மக்கள் அனைவரும் வந்து செல்வதற்கான கோயில்களை உருவாக்கியவர். குல வழிபாட்டு முறையை ஒழித்துக்கட்டி,அனைவரும் பொது இடத்தில் கூடி வழிபடும்படியாக கடவுள்களை நிறுவினார் நாராயணகுரு.

அந்த ஆலயங்களில், தீண்டப்படாதவர்களையே பூஜைகள் செய்யவைத்தார். அக்கோயில்களுக்கான பூஜை மந்திரங்களையும் அவரே உருவாக்கித் தந்தார். -நாராயணகுரு ஆன்மிகம் மட்டுமல்லாமல் கல்வித்துறையிலும் சாதனைகள் நிகழ்த்தினார்.

தாழ்த்தப்பட்ட சமூகத்தினர் படிப்பாளிகளாக மாறியதற்கும், பொதுவாக கேரளத்தின் கல்விநிலையே புரட்சிகரமாக மாறியதற்கும் காரணம் நாராயணகுருவே!'ஒரு சாதி, ஒரு மதம், ஒரு தெய்வம் மனிதனுக்கு!' என்று உபதேசித்த மகானின் வியப்பூட்டக்கூடிய வாழ்க்கை சரிதத்தைப் பற்றி, எளிய தமிழில் பேசுகிறது இந்நூல்.



Sri Narayana Guru was a spiritual sage who fought for saving Kerala society from the clutches of caste aversions and slavery. The confidence he instilled in the hearts of the oppressed caste people considered unworthy and denied admission into the sanctum sanctorum of the temples by higher castes is no small one. He made temples for the worship of all without regard to caste, colour or creed. He enshrined Gods in the temples for common worship and eradicated the custom of caste worship. And he made priests of the untouchables in those temples. He himself created the mantras for worship in those temples. Narayana Guru achieved not only in the field of spiritulism but also in that of education. He is the cause for making the oppressed castes educated and in one way transformed the educational state of Kerala as a whole in a revolutionary way. This book speaks in simple Tamil about the wonderful life of a great sage who spoke of one caste, one religion and one God for all men.
